The Canadian Cultural Centre of Paris is located in the 7th arrondissement on the Esplanade des Invalides. Opened in 1970 with the aim to develop, strengthen and enhance the excellent cultural relations between France and Canada, the centre is a meeting point for the disciplines, languages and living cultures of all the provinces and territories of Canada.

Coming under the jurisdiction of the Embassy of Canada in Paris, the centre acts in conjunction with several Canadian partners such as Telefilm Canada, the National Film Board of Canada and the Canada Council for the Arts. Promoting the most innovative Canadian contemporary art, the Canadian Cultural Centre presents a wide variety of on-site and outside cultural programming. It also assists Canadian and French institutions in their exchange and cooperation projects.

The cultural activities of the Canadian Cultural Centre are also part of major French and European events, including the Nuit Blanche, the Mois de la Photo à Paris, the European Night of Museums, the Fête de la Musique, the Cannes International Film Festival and the Semaine des Cultures Étrangères. It has also been an active member of the Forum des Instituts Culturels Étrangers à Paris (FICEP) since it was founded in 2002.

The Canadian Cultural Centre houses several organizations and associations such as the France-Canada Chamber of Commerce, the Espace Culturel Inuit, the Association Nationale France Canada and the Permanent Delegation of Canada to UNESCO. It also hosts lecture linked to Franco-Canadian cooperation and sessions about studying in Canada and immigration organized by other departments of the Embassy of Canada.
