THE ESPLANADE
COLLECTION

The Esplanade Collection brings together books published between 1994 and 2008 by the Canadian Cultural Centre. It is a collection of important essays on art and a record of the centre’s exhibitions.

Many authors have contributed to the collection, including Daniel Arasse, Paul Ardenne, Christophe Domino, Hubert Damisch, François-Marc Gagnon and Martha Langford. They have written about artists such as Donigan Cumming, Geoffrey James, Ken Lum and Jana Sterbak.

The Esplanade Collection offers a singular look at the artists of Canada and gradually builds up its own history of contemporary Canadian art.
